Terms and conditions for your stay
This translation is provided for your convenience. The German version of this text is the legally binding one.
1. Contracting party
The landlord is Miriam Ann Sterk, Schlätterstraße 46, 88074 Meckenbeuren, Germany. The rental agreement comes into effect with our booking confirmation.
2. Rental object and occupancy
The apartment booked in each case is rented for temporary use. The maximum occupancy must not be exceeded:
- Steel Grey: 2 people
- Viscont White: 3 people
- Ivory Fantasy: 5 people
Subletting or transfer to third parties is not permitted. Overnight stays by additional persons are only possible by prior arrangement.
3. Arrival and departure
Arrival is possible from 16:00 – 20:00, departure bis 11:00. We are happy to agree different times individually.
4. Prices and payment
The price confirmed at the time of booking applies. Electricity, water and heating are included. You select the method of payment as well as any deposits and additional costs during the booking process; they are set out there and in your booking confirmation. The details in that confirmation are authoritative.
5. Cancellation by the guest
- Up to 15 days before the start of the rental, cancellation is free of charge.
- From 14 days before the start of the rental, 90 % of the rental price becomes due.
- What matters is the receipt of your declaration in text form. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
If you provide a replacement guest, or if we are able to let the apartment otherwise, the amount is reduced accordingly.
6. Cancellation by the landlord
We may withdraw from the contract if the apartment becomes unusable through force majeure or unforeseeable damage. In that case we will refund any amounts already paid in full without delay. Further claims are excluded unless we have acted with intent or gross negligence.
7. Obligations of the guest
The apartment must be treated with care. The house rules apply and become part of the contract upon booking. Damage must be reported to us without delay; the guest is liable for culpably caused damage in accordance with statutory provisions.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health as well as for intent and gross negligence. In the case of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. We accept no liability for items brought along.
9. No right of withdrawal
For contracts on the letting of accommodation for purposes other than residential purposes, there is no statutory right of withdrawal under § 312 g (2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code. The agreed cancellation terms under clause 5 apply.
10. Final provisions
German law applies. Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective.
